Woweee!  Did you have the wine tasting menu too Smugs?
No, beause it would have added another £300!!

We had a lovely bottle of wine - probably the best NZ Sauv blanc I've ever tasted, but I didn't pay any attention to it really because the food was so delicious and I didn't want to spoil the flavour!

Yeah, but just the normal food. Now I've seen what he can do I'd want to see how amazing he makes a normal 4 course meal... plus the cheese board they were wheeling around looked killer!

but maybe not for a few years yet, as our bank account won't like us!

But did you feel like you'd had a filling meal?  Or did you have to go for a kebab after?

that just sounds so special.

My main gripe with eating out in Sheffield is that you NEVER get summat you couldn't cook at home.

There is no way that you could ever cook that at home!

Ha!  Would you believe I have given in on the whole Beefeater meal, and we're all going (children included).  The Fat Duck is a gift to Mr J from the family for us to go on our own (that's my cunning plan at least).
